Hi Tina, it's been great and I have learnt a great deal. Thanks for giving me some reassurance. I am starting to take a look at wikis as well. Do you have any examples of yours that I could take a look at and get some ideas? Probably they are on the CD from the conference but I did not receive it before I left so I am not sure. Enjoy the rest of the break.
Frohes Neues Jahr to you too.

Hi Tina,
Now that I am in Germany I have had a little bit of extra time to look into this since the conference. I have also been reading a great little book on all of this. I have just set up my own ning for the BJR group so the kids can share all of their experiences. Before I send invitations to them I was a little worried about the safety aspects. I have closed the network to membes only and anyone that wants to join has to be approved by me. Does that mean then that all the photos, blogs etc. can only be accessed through the site? Do you think that I can use it safely with the students and that I shouldn't worry too much.

If you could let me know your thoughts on it, it would be great.

Thanks, Eva

Hi Tina,
I'm still working on the ning situation at school...but I will not give up easily. I also have some 14 yr olds who would greatly benefit from something "different".
Thanks for the comment on my blog...it's really great to see how others are using their IWB and share ideas :o)
I'll hopefully have some good news soon!

Hi Tina,
Let me know how you go with adding Rollyo to your edu blog. I have been trying to do it this weekend, but it doesn't seem to work. Although the preview looks fine, when I save it to a text box widget, it doesn't show up properly. I think I am doing what I should be.
Good luck!

Right. Just managed to spot the suggestion for our session(s) in one of the wall posts. Maybe we can use this definition from wikipedia in our collaborative learning with wikis one - "Wiki" (/wiːkiː/) is originally a Hawaiian word for "fast". It has been suggested that "wiki" means "What I Know Is". However, this is a backronym.
You seemed as though you might have some ideas for the 'showcase' session?? Maybe we could get Ed and Livinia in to help (of Sale of the Century fame!)?
